The Walk for Kids brings together the community for one single goal — to raise funds for the program and services provided by Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times.

The Walk for Kids is a beloved community event supporting the families who are caring for a child undergoing or that has underwent treatment for pediatric cancer. This year’s walk journey has been reimagined so can you decide how you want to walk for kids.

We invite you to join the Walk for Kids from the comfort of your own home! This year's walk is filled with new online tools, virtual challenges and initiatives to jumpstart your fundraising. All leading up to the virtual celebration on Sunday April 25th that will bring the fun and excitement of the Walk for Kids to your living room!

Virtual VIP Event: Super Walker Game Night · Thursday April 22, 2021 at 5:30pm

Super Walkers Assemble! Walkers who raise $1,000+ are invited to a ONE NIGHT ONLY event positively stuffed with games, prizes and surprise celebrity guests! Taking place on April 22nd at 5:30pm, celebrate your fundraising superpowers from the comfort of your own secret hideaway. Each Super Walker will receive a virtual Hero Pack filled with awesome prizes! Stay tuned for more details.

All walkers who raise $1000+ before April 21st will receive a link to register for the event. Anyone who raises $1000+ after April 21st can be sent the virtual Hero Pack.

Why should I register?
Your registration will provide providing care, comfort, and support to families, staying at the Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, so that they can focus on what’s most important—the health of their child.

Is my registration fee tax deductible?
The IRS does not consider registration fees for charity walks to be tax deductible, as you are receiving entry to the event, as well as merchandise, in exchange for your contribution.

Does my registration fee count towards my fundraising total?
Yes it does! Although your registration fee is not tax deductible as explained in the previous question, it does count towards your fundraising total.

This is my first-time fundraising—do you have any tips?
Whether you are a newbie to fundraising or have been doing this for several years, you can get tips and ideas to make the most of your efforts by visiting our Fundraising Tips page.

If I am already registered, do I need to register my spouse and children?
Everyone who wishes to participate in the walk, must register individually. Child registration are always free. Please note, fundraising will NOT close - people may still donate to your page!
