Why We Walk For Ronald McDonald House Los Angeles
Meet The Watson Family
At Ronald McDonald House Los Angeles, we know that healing happens together. By participating in Walk for Kids: Los Angeles 2022, you create a community to support families like the Watsons. Together, children and families can embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage, and joy.
The Watson Family first stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in 2018 while seven-year-old Alanna Watson was being treated for medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer. The House was able to keep the Watson family close to one another, and close to Alanna's much needed medical treatment.
Near the completion of her treatment, Alanna was able to visit Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times. During her Camp session, Alanna enjoyed the chance to have fun with children her own age, after the isolation she’d experienced in the hospital.
