Westside Los Angeles Walk for Kids | Sunday, May 1, 2022: Adam Weene - Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California

A few months ago, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California acquired a hotel located adjacent to UCLA. Now, it is being converted to a Ronald McDonald Home. As the Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committees of this awesome charity, I now need to figure out how to pay for it. I would be sincerely grateful for your help!

I would be greatly appreciative if you would consider making a donation to support me in the West LA Walk for Kids on May 1, 2022. The proceeds from this walk will be used to finance the acquisition and development of the property that we acquired at 927 Hilgard.

So you have some familiarity, the RMHC helps families in need stay close to their children when they receive treatment for serious medical conditions. This walk will support the creation of the first RMHC facility in the westside of Los Angeles. As a resident, it would be extraordinarily meaningful and relevant to have a small role in the creation of a nearby Ronald McDonald House. It will serve as a "home away from home" for families who face the fear and uncertainty of having seriously ill children and it will share our home on the westside of LA with those who are in need.
