Growing up with a sister who battled cancer, the Ronald McDonald House has always been a cause close to my heart. Although we never had to stay there, the model of keeping loved ones close to allow the power of family to heal rang true. I always appreciated that Ronald McDonald Houses care not just for patients, but for their whole team. The Ronald McDonald House creates a sense of community where children who are sick, their parents AND siblings can embrace life with hope, courage and joy.
