I lived in the Loma Linda RMH for 104 days, 7 years ago, while Raelynn fought for her life in the NICU across the street at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. It only cost $10 a day. They provided food, laundry, a clean room, all personal amenities. Down to a toothbrush and toothpaste if you need it. Families pay $0-12 a day. It was priceless to me. To sleep for 3-4 hours, sometimes zero, across the street from my baby, I can't explain the comfort it gave. It's not natural to leave your baby in a hospital and not stay with your baby. Being across the street, was the next best thing. I was at the hospital 16-22hrs a day. I would have stayed 24hrs but 2 hours a day, parents weren't allowed in the NICU due to shift change. 3 months ago I stayed, once again at the RMH while my baby Rylee was in the NICU, after being born at 35 weeks and had accute respiratory failure. Rylee had pulmonary hypertension and had to stay in the nicu for 29 days. Please help other families stay near their child(ren). Every penny you donate goes to the house. Thank you for your support and love, you have shown my sweet Little Miss Raelynn and also now, my Rylee Girl.
