Help me reach my goal!

As most of you know, I worked for more than 5 years at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House. It was an incredible honor everyday spending time with the families. It was part of my job to share in their joys and successes. And when needed, I provided them with a shoulder to cry on - or an ear to listen to their concerns. I saw the direct impact of the money raised to help support the families.
I am now working at UCLA and I was thrilled to hear they are opening a Ronald McDonald House Family Room at UCLA’s Mattel Children’s Hospital. The Family Room will offer a place to rest and regroup at the hospital. When families walk into the Family Room, it’s an opportunity for them to forget they’re in a hospital. The room will be steps away from the pediatric and intensive care unit. The Family Room will offer them a place to rest and regroup right at the hospital, just moments away from their sick child. These family rooms are critical as research shows that staying close by allows parents to better communicate with their child’s medical team and improves adherence to complicated treatment plans.
I ask you to please sponsor me in their Walk for Kids.
Thank you in advance for your support!
