Please Join Me in Supporting the Walk for Kids -- Together, We Can Change the World for the Better, One Child and Family at a Time!
Welcome to my personal Walk for Kids 2019 page!
It is a sincere honor and pleasure for me to serve on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Brand Strategy Committee of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California, a very special non-profit organization which provides housing, financial support, community, and a “home away from home” for families whose children are being treated for a wide range of serious illnesses at one of the leading children’s hospitals located in the Los Angeles area.
As many of you may recall, I have a deep, personal history with and passion for this organization, having served for many years on the Board of the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House before joining the RMHCSC chapter Board a few years ago. Our chapter is the largest in the world, having cared for many tens of thousands of families with children in need over the past 40 years with six RMHC Houses in the region (Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Long Beach, Orange County, Pasadena, Bakersfield) and a medically-supervised camp, among other initiatives related to what we refer to as “family-centered care” – our mission is to help families stay together and heal together during one or more stays while their young child is undergoing medical treatment.
It is my hope and wish that many of you will consider joining me by giving today and supporting our Walk for Kids 2019. And, as I have learned over the years, every dollar counts. Even if you have given in the past, many old and new families still need our support – and together, we can change the world for the better, one child and family at a time!
If you are interested in making a secure online donation to help me reach my fundraising goal, please click the red Donate Now button to the right of the page.
With much gratitude and warm wishes on behalf of the RMHCSC and our many families, we thank you for your support!
